Review: Bags arrived fast and staff were politeMala from Denver, CO | Baggage Staff | Reviewed April 14, 2026
★★★★☆ 4.1

After a tiring trip, I mostly wanted the bags to show up and the staff to be polite. That is exactly what happened. The baggage belt at HNL started quickly, both checked bags arrived together, and the employee nearby helped an older passenger lift a heavy suitcase without being asked.

Complaint: Rebooking made us miss the trip anywayMichelle from Seattle, WA | Customer Service Punctuality & Speed | Reviewed July 19, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.5

Our original flight was cancelled and Air France automatically moved us onto a connection that looked impossible from the start. Staff at DOH kept saying the new 17:55 departure was the only option, but by the time we landed the onward gate was already closed. What bothered me most was being told to call support while standing in the airport with hotel nights already paid for.

Review: Helpful crew after a long connectionRenee from Phoenix, AZ | Customer Service Staff | Reviewed September 21, 2026
★★★★★ 5

We came off a long international leg exhausted and still had one more flight to go. The crew on Air France AF921 noticed several people were connecting onward and made a point of checking who needed gate information. It was not fancy service, just thoughtful and human, which mattered after a long day.

Complaint: Cabin condition made the flight uncomfortableNina from Toronto, ON | Maintenance Staff | Reviewed April 14, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.2

The area around seat 31A smelled strongly of the lavatory for most of the flight. A crew member offered a middle seat several rows back, but that was the only option. For a long trip, this was one of those problems that sounds small until you are stuck with it for hours.

Complaint: No ownership after a missed connectionStephen from Canton, CT | Customer Service Punctuality & Speed | Reviewed July 19, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1

Once the connection was missed, every person pointed somewhere else. Airport staff said to call, the call center said to ask the airport, and the app kept showing options that disappeared before I could select them. Nobody sounded responsible for getting us to the destination anymore.

Complaint: Gate updates came too lateMark from San Diego, CA | Punctuality & Speed Online & App | Reviewed September 21, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.8

The app changed first, the airport screen changed later, and the people at gate A4 still had no explanation. By the time someone finally said the 17:55 departure was delayed, several passengers had already missed the chance to adjust their connections. The delay was frustrating, but the silence made it worse.

Complaint: App showed one thing, airport staff said anotherMichael from Brooklyn, NY | Online & App Punctuality | Reviewed April 14, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.9

The app said Air France AF189 was boarding soon, the airport screen still showed delayed, and the gate desk told us to ignore both until they made an announcement. That kind of mixed information is exhausting when you are trying to decide whether to get food, call a ride, or run to a different gate.

Review: Gate agent helped recover a forgotten phoneLenny from Austin, TX | Staff Customer Service | Reviewed July 19, 2026
★★★★★ 4.9

A phone was left with the wrong family member during boarding, and I expected that to become a mess. The gate agent at G3 stayed calm, coordinated with the people still outside the jet bridge, and got it back before the door closed. That one employee saved the trip from starting badly.

Complaint: Refund case kept restartingPatricia from Chicago, IL | Refunds Customer Service | Reviewed September 21, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.1

I submitted the refund form after a cancelled Sydney to Auckland trip and received a case number right away. After that, nothing was simple. Each call felt like starting over, one agent could not see the previous notes, and the email replies never gave a real date for when the money would be returned.

Complaint: Extra fees changed the whole priceRobert from Jersey City, NJ | Price Sales & Marketing | Reviewed April 14, 2026
★★☆☆☆ 1.6

The fare looked reasonable when I booked, but the final cost felt different after seat selection, baggage, and a change fee. For the Sao Paulo Guarulhos to Santiago trip, the add-ons made the ticket feel misleading. I would rather see the real price earlier than be surprised step by step.

Complaint: Wheelchair request was visible but not readyMary from Kansas City, MO | Special Assistance Customer Service | Reviewed July 19, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.3

The wheelchair request was on the reservation, but when we reached Chicago O'Hare nobody seemed prepared for it. We waited, asked twice, and almost missed the boarding window. Special assistance should not depend on finding the right person at the last minute.

Review: One agent turned a bad morning aroundChris from Denver, CO | Staff Check-in | Reviewed September 21, 2026
★★★★★ 4.7

The check-in line at Atlanta was long enough that I expected a disaster. A gate agent near D21 noticed the tight connection on AF374, moved the document check along, and explained exactly where to go next. It was the kind of calm help that makes a stressful airport morning feel manageable.

Complaint: Call center hold times made rebooking uselessChristy from Orlando, FL | Customer Service | Reviewed April 14, 2026
★☆☆☆☆ 1.4

The airport desk told us all rebooking had to be handled by phone. I called twice from the terminal, waited long enough to watch other passengers give up, and still did not reach anyone who could fix the trip. When travel plans are falling apart, being bounced between airport staff and the call center is not support.
